Inca Spyder V
Spyder V is designed to accommodate a range of materials for the wide format and POP market. This includes the more usual papers and plastics, but with the ability to handle substrates up to 50mm thick, can also embrace more unusual substrates such as extruded plastics, wood, glass and thicker POP materials.
The Spyder V printer has a unique Inca designed printhead array to achieve a higher throughput than other Spyder 320 printers. Print speed is up to 93m2/hr in production mode with a maximum speed of 130m2/hr. The Spyder V has a print area of 3.2 x 1.6m on substrates as thick as 30mm. While the standard colour set of the Spyder V is four colour CMYK, a six colour version is also available with the option of using Fujifilm Sericol's unique Uvijet Ultratone colour system.
The new Spyder is designed to offer more throughput utilising the highly popular Spyder platform but featuring the new Inca designed printhead array.
Pyramid Visuals has invested in an Inca Spyder V large-format ultraviolet UV inkjet printer to meet demands for faster turnarounds. The company is also seeking to expand its presence in the point-of-sale/point-of-purchase POS/POP market.
The Inca Spyder V, supplied by Fujifilm Sericol, has a print-head array that is said to give high quality at high speeds.
